Weigela Prism Midnight is a fabulous new take on an old fashioned shrub. Small, glossy, black foliage and black stems make for a stunning compact and dwarf shrub all on their own. And then, in late spring to early summer, expect an eye-popping and contrasting display of deep pink tubular flowers with a secondary flush in late summer. The rounded, compact plants will reach 36 inches tall with a 24 inch spread. Stunning in the mixed sunny border and as the thriller in mixed containers.
