Weigela Prism Arabian Nights is a fabulous new take on an old fashioned shrub. Small, glossy, dark burgundy-black foliage and black stems make for a stunning compact shrub all on its own. And then, in late spring through early summer plants produce an eye-popping display of cherry-red tubular flowers which rebloom in late summer. Plants will reach just 24 inches tall and 18 inches wide. Stunning in the mixed sunny border and as the thriller in a mixed container. Very tidy, low maintenance and seldom needs pruning. Hummingbird and pollinator attractor. Cultivar name ‘WG17-18’
