Description
Viburnum opulus is an award-winning, ornamentally beautiful, non-edible plant known as cranberrybush or snowball bush. Late spring sees large clusters of sterile flowers emerging soft lime green, then changing to pure white, often with a touch of blush pink, before fading. An additional season of interest is provided by the green, maple-like leaves that take on beautiful shades of orange and red in fall. Plants will reach 10-12 feet tall and wide. Prune after flowering. Makes for a beautiful addition to the landscape as a specimen, shrub border, hedge or screen and for cut flowers for the vase. Attracts pollinators. Deer resistant.
