Description
Tricyrtis hirta ‘Miyazaki Hybrids’ is a toad lily with botanically intriguing flowers for the shady garden. Clusters of large, orchid-like white flowers are heavily sprinkled with purple freckles from late summer to fall. The graceful, arching, hairy stems to 36 inches tall sport green, lance-shaped leaves that are arranged in a ladder-like fashion. A top performer for floral display, robust habit and winter hardiness. Pest, disease and deer resistant. A woodland treasure for the front to middle of the border, along pathways or in containers where the unique flowers can be viewed at close range.
