Description
Titanotrichum oldhami is an African violet relative that looks like a tropical foxglove. It forms clumps of fuzzy basal leaves topped in late summer with one foot spikes of golden yellow bells with vivid, cinnamon-red centres. Too see one in real life is to know the true meaning of plant lust. Once thought to be hardy to only zone 9 it has proven hardy to zone 7. Ensure good winter drainage.
