Description
Tellima grandiflora or fringecups is a charming BC native plant related to Heuchera with a rosette of large green leaves and spikes of airy white to greenish fragrant flowers. They are intricately detailed and often accented with a touch of pink. The young leaves can have red veins. An all-purpose evergreen ground cover for any light conditions and all but the driest or wettest of soils. They are good in bouquets. A good backdrop for late spring bulbs. Will reseed gently in the garden. Popular with native bees and hummingbirds.
