Description
Sedum makinoi ‘Ogon’ is a golden Japanese stonecrop prized for its bright gold foliage that creates a dense mat of tiny, round, buttery yellow leaves in full sun and chartreuse in part sun to part shade. In summer, star-shaped yellow flowers emerge above the foliage on red stems. ‘Ogon’ is a low-growing, mat-forming stonecrop to 2-3 inches tall and 8-12 inches wide. Provides a striking accent in containers, in rock gardens, spilling over retaining walls and as a ground cover. Evergreen in mild winter climates. Deer and rabbit resistant.
