Description
Sedum ‘Dark Magic’ beautifully combines a short and upright habit with large red-purple blooms, and dark tinted foliage. A vase-shaped, open branching habit creates an attractive form. The flowers are clustered in a layered pattern reminiscent of clouds. Upright stonecrops are useful nearly year round: mounds of succulent new growth in early spring, structural upright clumps through summer, heads of showy flower heads in late summer and fall, and dried flower stems in winter. Use in the border and container, as a mass planting, and for cut and dried flowers. Provides seed for overwintering birds. Popular with bees and butterflies. Deer resistant.
