Description
Rubus idaeus ‘Red Mammoth’ is a variety introduced by the University of Saskatchewan that offers more cold resistance with record size fruit up to 2.15 cm in diameter. Berries are very sweet, rich red in colour and easily detached. This summer-bearing raspberry produces thornless and upright canes making for easy picking. Expect a long harvest time between mid to end of season. Remove fruited canes after fruiting to encourage new canes. Enjoy fresh, frozen, canned, and baked. Attracts bees and wildlife. A Canadian native found in every province and territory.
