Ribes rubrum ‘Blanka’ is a white currant from Slovakia with excellent production of very large, white, sweet and flavourful berries in attractive clusters. All currants are rich in antioxidants and have a much higher vitamin C content than oranges. They can be eaten fresh or used for jams, jellies, and juices. They are easy-to-grow, self-fertile, and very hardy to at least zone 3.
