Description
Rhododendron ‘Ramapo’ features small, rounded trusses of frilly, lavender, funnel-shaped flowers atop a dwarf, very compact mound with small, oval, evergreen leaves and a spreading branch structure up to 3 feet tall with a 4 foot spread. Responds well to pruning after flowering. Benefits from evenly moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil and mulch. Use as an informal hedge, accent, foundation planting, as a mass planting, and for winter interest. Could even be used as a mass planted ground cover. Hummingbird and pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
