Punica granatum Crimson Sky (‘Nikitskii Ranii’) is a hardy pomegranate from the Nikita Botanic Garden. It is early-ripening with abundant and reliable crops of large, bright red, flavourful fruit. The trumpet-shaped, orange-red flowers as also very ornamental. Pomegranates require lots of sun and heat to bloom and fruit. They are self fertile and leaf out in late spring.
