Description
Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Raspberry Lemonade’ is hardy, North American ninebark shrub ideal for both moist and dry soils. The foliage emerges chartreuse followed by clusters of white summer flowers maturing to ornamental coral-red fruits and attractive peeling bark. The habit is dense, compact and mounding to four feet tall and wide. Fabulous for foundations, mixed borders, naturalized gardens, specimens, containers, and small spaces. Bee friendly and a larval host for various moth species. A Canadian native of Ontario and Quebec.
