Description
Phlox paniculata ‘Gzhel’ is a bushy garden phlox with gorgeous, very fragrant flowers that open from bright purple-blue buds opening into pinwheels of half violet-blue/half white petals on stems up to 42 inches tall. A member of the Russian Lady series bred for its larger flower clusters, extended bloom time and tough, disease-resistant foliage. Use in the mixed sunny border, and in pollinator, meadow, and cutting gardens. Deadhead to encourage continued bloom. Pollinator and hummingbird attractor. Somewhat deer resistant.
