Olea europaea ‘Pendolino’ is an old Italian variety with lovely pendulous branches and high fruit production. The olives are larger than ‘Frantoio’ but smaller than ‘Leccino’. Its olives can be used for green or black table olives or to make a mild, fruity, green-flavoured olive oil. It is self fertile and valued as a universal pollenizer for other olive varieties.
