Nerine bowdenii is a South African late season bloomer. The flowering stalks of this Guernsey lily rise from the strap-like foliage and open into gorgeous spidery amaryllis-like flowers. ‘Vesta’ has soft pink wavy petals on stems up to 24 inches tall. A more cold-hardy species. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil or grow as a pot specimen and protect in winter.
