Description
Nepeta x faassenii ‘Snowflake’, better know as catmint, offers an ethereal effect with spikes covered in masses of tiny white flowers rising above and contrasting beautifully against its tidy, scented, grayish-green foliage that is neatly toothed with a puckered texture. A tight, compact and mounding growth habit of 12 inches tall and wide offers great versatility. Shear off spent flowers to promote rebloom towards the end of summer. Use as a mass planted ground cover, for border edging, on slopes or banks, for underplanting in rose beds, in rock and pollinator gardens, and in containers. Tolerant of hot dry sites, seasides and salt. Prefers dryish and not especially fertile soil. Hummingbird and pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
