Description
Nepeta ‘Chartreuse on the Loose’ is a catmint with full versatility in the sunny garden offering season long interest. The short spikes of lavender-blue flowers rise above the striking and contrasting chartreuse foliage through summer and fall continuing blooming even if not deadheaded unlike other catmints. It has a nice compact growth habit of 8 to 10 inches high with a 20 to 24 inch spread. Use in front of borders as an edger, in mass plantings, as a ground cover, or in the rock garden. Drought tolerant once established. Hummingbird and pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
