But it is in late summer that the plants explode into stunning clouds of airy pink. ‘Ruby’ offers stunning deep pink clouds. Intolerant of winter wet so plant in hot dry conditions and poor soils. Provide as much heat as you possibly can to bring plants into flower, especially on the West Coast. Drought tolerant. Deer resistant.
