Description
Lilium LA ‘Royal Sunset’ is a spectacular LA hybrid lily, a cross of Asiatic and Easter lilies, with mildly fragrant, caramel orange flowers 4 to 6 inches across with golden throats and pink petal tips. Blooms from early to mid summer. Grows up to 48 inches tall. Awesome in the June to July garden bulking up quickly into large clumps. Excellent as a cut flower. For best displays, plant 3 or more bulbs together. Easy to grow. Keep the roots cool and moist during the growing season. Remove developing seed pods after flowering to focus resources back into the bulb. Allow leaves to yellow in the fall before removing stems. Pollinator friendly. Possibly hardy to zone 3.
