Lamium maculatum ‘Beacon Silver’ is a spotted deadnettle that’s a perfect ground cover for the shady garden. Gorgeous heart-shaped, semi-evergreen foliage is silver with narrow green margins. Small, hooded lavender flowers emerge in late spring in attractive whorls and continue on and off until fall. Fairly tolerant of dry shade once established. Grows 6-8 inches tall and 12-24 inches wide. Great in beds, border edges, containers, and as a ground cover along pathways or for underplanting larger shade perennials, trees, and shrubs. Pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
