Description
Iris pseudata ‘Eye Liner’ has pearly white flowers with bright yellow signals edged with violet that radiates in thin lines along the veins of the falls. The standards are fully pearly white. Tall and elegant, this hybrid can grow in a number of soil moisture regimes from standing water and rain gardens to normal gardening conditions. Prefers full sun for best performance. Pseudatas are a cross between the yellow flat (I. pseudacorus) and the Japanese iris (I. ensata). Can reach 38 inches high in bloom. Attracts hummingbirds and bees. Deer and rabbit resistant.
