Description
Japanese irises offer the largest flowers of all iris groups with very interesting colour combinations and patterns. They prefer full sun and moist, even wet, soils. Iris ensata Dinner Plate ‘Jell-O’ has large, 6 inch wide, semi-double violet blooms with bold white veining emerging from yellow and white centres. Blooms early summer. The foliage is green and lance-shaped. Thrives in damp borders and pond or stream edges. Pollinator attractor. Deer resistant.
