A truly unique Hydrangea macrophylla, L.A. Dreamin’ ‘Lindsey Ann’ blooms on both new and old wood with flowers that run the gamut of pinks, blues, lavenders, and everything in between usually offering all of these different colours all at the same time. This show stopping display is said not to be pH-dependent. However, multi-coloured displays are more likely to occur in the middle pH range. At the extremes of acidity and alkalinity you could still get mostly blue or mostly pink flowers, respectively. In this case, apply a soil amendment to adjust the soil pH back to a more neutral range.
