Description
Hydrangea macrophylla Blue Enchantress is a dramatic, reblooming, extra hardy, bigleaf hydrangea with reddish-black stems that hold large mopheads of glowing blue flowers in acidic soils or pink flowers in alkaline soils. The reblooming habit will produce multiple flushes of flowers from early summer until frost or, in the event of overpruning by gardener or mother nature, flowers on new stems from mid summer until frost. Hardy to zone 4 though it is best to mulch stems deeply in colder climates. Cultivar name: ‘Monmar’.
