Description
Hosta ‘White Feather’ emerges with leaves ghostly white creating a striking spring display. As the leaves mature they warm a little into creamy yellow and then develop streaks of green in the veins providing a striped foliage show. By summer the leaves go completely green. The show starts again the next spring! Lavender flowers. Note: Newly emerging foliage, espeically in young plants, is thin and susceptible to damage from frost or drying winds. Established plants get sturdier though the leaves will always be thinner than other cultivars. Plant this treasure in a protected location in the garden with overhead cover from shrubs, trees, or garden structures. If we are shipping this plant to you, the leaves can develop brown tips due to the humidity and time in the box but new leaves will flush.
