Description
Grown for its bold, golden foliage, Hosta ‘Lipstick Blonde’ is right up there with the best. This one-of-a-kind cultivar has vibrant lance-shaped, waxy, chartreuse to gold foliage held on dramatic red stems. Lavender bell-shaped flowers rise about the foliage in midsummer on reddish purple stems. Sun tolerant requiring six hours of sun to maintain the bold yellow colouration. In shaded areas plants will turn to light green by summer. Plant in mixed containers or in the garden. Attracts bees and hummingbirds.
