Description
Heuchera micrantha is one of our native alumroots. For gardeners who have grown the colourful hybrids, this species will be immediately recognizable with its lobed leaves and airy sprays of small white flowers. New foliage can sometimes have burgundy veining as pictured in a plant from Pender Harbour, BC. Tolerant of sun to shade and moist to dry conditions. The flowers attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. The plants are a larval host for moth and butterfly species.
