Description
Heuchera ‘Grape Expectations’ is a coral bell prized for its robust, dark evergreen foliage. New foliage emerges grape-purple with black veins that are broad, robust and somewhat fuzzy forming a dense, upright mound 12 inches tall with a 24 inch spread. As the temperature rises, the leaves develop a bright silver coating, then back to deep purple in late fall. Amongst the foliage arises 34 inch tall, dark purple stems supporting white flower scapes. Very easy to grow. Blends beautifully in borders, as an edger along pathways, in containers and in fresh bouquets. Appreciates shade in the afternoon. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators.
