Description
Heliopsis helianthoides ‘Orange Marble’ is a false sunflower with larger than usual, semi-double, flowers of red-orange, up to 3.5 inches wide, surrounding a brownish-yellow cone. Flowers bloom throughout summer on sturdy stems of up to 30 inches tall with a nice clumping habit of up to 24 inches wide. Creamy-green foliage is deeply variegated with dark green veins and burgundy highlights. Deadhead to extend blooming season. Use in the mixed border, in containers, and as cut or dried flowers. Attracts pollinators and birds. A Canadian native from Saskatchewan to Newfoundland.
