Description
Hakonechloa macra ‘All Gold’, known as Japanese hakone grass, has completely chartreuse-gold leaves. The cascading foliage resembles falling water which makes it marvelous beside a pond or tumbling out of shade borders. Try combining with dark burgundy and blue foliage to enliven the shade garden. Brightens up low light and shady gardens and provides movement and gentle rustling sounds in the breeze. Use in mixed borders and containers, and as a mass-planted ground cover. Deer resistant.
