Description
Gunnera monoica is a cute little version of the iconic giant Gunnera manicata! This low, semi-evergreen, creeping ground cover spreads by rhizomes creating a short lush carpet of one inch wide, rounded, serrated, overlapping foliage. In summer, little insignificant flower spikes can produce orange-red fruit. Plants will reach 4-6 inches high and spread to 16 inches or more. Prefers constant moisture in rich soil. Suitable for bog gardens and moist borders.
