Gladiolus ramosus ‘Vulcano’ is a real stunner in hardy glads with funnel-shaped, magenta-pink flowers and the lower three petals marked with lavender-purple chevrons. They have a very long bloom period. Bulbs require good drainage. Leave the foliage to nourish the bulb after cutting back the flower stalk and mulch in winter. Amazingly hardy to zone 5! Plant deeper in colder zones.
