Description
Geranium phaeum ‘Joseph Green’ is a rare and unusual hardy dusky cranesbill also called mourning widow. Tall flower stems host showy and unusual double flowers of maroon-purple with green highlights from late spring to summer atop green, maple-like foliage. Flowers are small but bloom profusely on stems up to 30 inches tall. Tolerant of full sun to full shade. Great in the cottage and rock gardens, in containers, and in the vase. Pollinator attractor, especially bees. Deer resistant.
