Description
Geranium ‘Mary Anne’ is a versatile, cold-hardy cranesbill that will bloom from late spring to frost just like ‘Rozanne’. The large, saucer-shaped, single flowers delight with masses of rich, purple petals, white eyes and striking dark purple veining. Flowers rise above the lovely clumping form of highly lobed green foliage on plants 12-18 inches tall and 2-3 feet wide, offering a low-growing, sprawling form allowing it to intermingle with nearby perennials or act as a ground cover. Requires moist, well-drained soil. Lovely in the cottage garden, at the front of the border, and in containers. Pollinator attractor. Deer resistant. Often listed as hardy to zone 6 but most likely hardy to zone 5.
