Description
‘Papoos’ is a petite hardy fuchsia with small leaves and numerous narrow single pendulous flowers with non-recurving, reddish-pink sepals surrounding purple centres and arching burgundy stems for a more simplified, well defined look. Very floriferous from summer to frost. Growth habit is a nice rounded form 15 inches tall with a 30 inch spread. A number of different Fuchsia are hardy to zone 7 or 8. To increase hardiness bury the base of the shrub 3-4 inches below the surface of the soil as you would a rose. Use at the front of mixed borders, pollinator gardens and containers.
