This is an amazing powdering blue foliage component for full sun containers and beds. On the West Coast Festuca should be planted in hot dry spots with thin soils without added compost. Otherwise they can fade in rich, wet winter soils. Also great in containers. Deer and rabbit resistant. Drought tolerant.
