Description
Euphorbia Miner’s Merlot has velvety burgundy foliage with red highlights when young forming lush, evergreen mounds two feet tall and wide. In early to mid spring it is topped for months by bright yellow and electric green bracts on branching stems that cup the small red flowers. Tolerant of part shade but the best leaf colour is produced in full sun. Use at the front or middle of the border, in rock gardens and in containers. Flowering lasts for months from early spring to early summer. Cut back each flowering stalk to the base when the bracts begin to whither. Remember: the stems that have not flowered yet will be your flowers for next spring. Deer and rabbit resistant. Drought tolerant. Cultivar name: ‘Km-mm024’.
