Description
Epimedium x warleyense ‘Ellen Willmott’ is a spreading barrenwort producing sprays of coppery red flowers with yellow centres and evergreen leaves. Growth habit is 12 to 16 inches tall and 18 to 23 inches wide. Cultivars from this cross are said to be some of the best for the garden. Epimedium are among the easiest perennials to grow. They thrive in medium to heavy shade, and when established, are highly drought tolerant. They are deer resistant and are seldom bothered by voles or other critters.
