Description
Dryopteris erythrosora ‘Prolifica’ is a beautiful semi-evergreen autumn fern with reddish new foliage in spring, maturing to green in the summer and then coppery-red in the fall. It will reach 24 inches tall and wide. Plants can spread slowly over time by slow, creeping rhizomes. Tolerates a wide range of garden conditions. Prefers even moisture but tolerant of dry shade once established. Use in light shady woodland and rock gardens, naturalized gardens, and mass plant as a great ground cover. Deer resistant.
