Description
Dracocephalum rupestre is commonly known as dragon’s head. It has aromatic green foliage and long, two-lipped, salvia-like, tubular flowers in deep shades of purple and blue on upright, un-branched purple stems in summer. Clump-forming to 6-24 inches tall and 12-15 inches wide. Low maintenance, disease and pest free. Great in the the mixed border, cottage, informal, and rock garden, and on banks and slopes.
