Diospyros kaki ‘Eun Poong Jun Si’ Robin is an early-ripening Korean persimmon with heavy crops of very sweet, flavourful, bright orange fruit. Early-ripening varieties are particularly good for cool summer climates like the West Coast or other northerly regions with shorter summers. The fruit is astringent and can be eaten when soft and tender like a tomato. Great for fresh eating and drying. Persimmons are one of the most popular fruits in Asia and treasured for fresh eating or desserts. Self-fertile.
