Diospyros kaki ‘Fuyu’ is an early-ripening variety bearing abundant crops of sweet, flavourful, orange fruit followed by strikingly beautiful, orange-yellow fall foliage. Non-astringent. The fruit is usually eaten when firm like an apple but can also be eaten when soft and tender like a ripe tomato or dried. It is very similar to ‘Early Fuyu’ and ‘Sweet Fuyu’. Persimmons are one of the most popular fruits in Asia and treasured for fresh eating or desserts. Self-fertile. For the 2025 Citrus Pre-Order these trees are in 5 gallon pots and 5-6 feet high.
