Description
‘Impression Festivo’ is a dwarf collarette-style, mignon type Dahlia with up to three inch wide, single flowers comprised of bright red petals adorned with a ring of tiny creamy white and red petals around the yellow centres. Blooms profusely on 12 to 20 inch tall stems from summer to frost. Popular with pollinators. Use in the border, containers and vase. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. They are moderately deer resistant. Pollinator friendly.
