Description
Dahlia ‘Tanita’ is a stunner with fully double, decorative or semi-cactus style blooms up to 5.5 inches across in fuchsia-pink hues fading towards the tips with vivd red undersides on sturdy stems 36-48 inches tall. Stunning in the sunny border as well as in the vase. Blooms from summer to fall. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. They are moderately deer resistant.
