Description
‘Cranberry Classic’ is a showy decorative type Dahlia with fully double blooms with purple-red centres that open into showy, curved and ruffled, light pink petals with contrasting deep cranberry red undersides. The two-tone effect is marvelous in the summer garden. Flowers can reach 5 to 6 inches wide and are displayed on stems up to 3 to 4 feet tall. Floriferous from summer to frost. Great in the border and vase. Dahlia are hardy to the winter temperatures of coastal BC but not to the winter wet. Grow outside in locations that are dry in winter or lift and store in a cool, dry location indoors like everyone else does.
