Description
Dahlia ‘Speech’ is a powder-puff or anemone style dahlia with an outer row of bright red petals with large, fluffy, cherry red centres highlighted with ivory white accents. Flowers are displayed on stems up to 40 inches tall. Blooms summer to frost. Awesome in the border and as cut flowers. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC’s winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location.
