Cuphea ‘Hummingbird’s Lunch’ is a fascinating, low-mounding, easy-care, tender, evergreen perennial with a tidy round habit 24 inches tall by 36 inches wide at maturity. Bright, two-toned tubular flowers of cherry-red and yellow bloom non-stop from late spring to fall. A magnet for hummingbirds and pollinators alike. Loves heat and sun. Dead heading is not necessary. Mulch over winter in colder climates, otherwise, treat as an annual or bring inside as a houseplant for winter. Excellent in the border, containers and for mass planting.
