Description
‘Katrina’ produces an early to midseason crop of small, slender, high quality, nicely ribbed cucumbers on compact plants. It is known for its excellent production of uniform fruit and for its ability to set fruit under heat stress. The cucumbers are seedless, thin-skinned, produced in clusters of 3-4, and best harvested at 5.5–6.5 inches long. 49 days to harvest. Mighty Veggies grafted vegetables are hand grafted onto super strong rootstock which provides greater disease resistance, greater cold tolerance (so veggies start growing faster in the spring), and great yield. Mighty Veggie grafted plants usually produce 2-3 times more fruit than ungrafted plants, a difference that is especially large for heirloom varieties which do not always offer high yields.
