Description
Crocosmia ‘Red King’ is a compact montbretia offering spectacular red, funnel-shaped flowers with yellow-orange centres on arching stems for a bi-colour effect. Green foliage is sword-like offering a vertical, spiky texture. Compact and clump-forming 24 inches tall with a 16 inch spread. Flowers bloom in mid to late summer providing a fiery lift to the garden. Requires well-drained soil. Great in borders, containers, mass planting, and for cut flowers. Popular with hummingbirds and and other pollinators. Deer and rabbit resistant.
